The PS3 Slim, although smaller and lighter than the originally released PS3 is equally powerful and sports a 120GB local hard-drive to store game-data, downloads and media files. It can however be easily expanded by replacing the hard-drive with ie. a 250GB hard-drive or even larger! The PS3 Slim does not support playing PS2 or PSOne game-discs, nor does it allow you to install an alternative operating system like Linux.
